Description

The AVA 10 is available in various configurations with 1 – 4 inputs and up to 10 outputs. It covers the frequency range from 10 kHz to 30 MHz.

The units are designed for integration into 19-inch racks. They require only 2 HU so its small footprint allows for flexible integration into the application environment.

The AVA features

  • No restriction of antenna selection
  • Number of inputs and outputs configurable
  • Fast input to output switching 
  • Switchable input protection (auto – 0 dB – 6 dB – 20 dB)
  • Special preamplifiers available for limitation of frequency range or passive bypass
  • Watchdog for active antennas, preamplifiers and channel amplifiers
     

An integrated control unit controls the antenna distributor AVA. Local control from the front panel, remote operation through RS232/RS422 interface or Ethernet LAN interface 10/100M is supported.

Customer specific requirements can be considered.

Options
The AVA 10 can be configured with these options according to customer needs:

  • output sockets typ N instead of BNC
  • addional power supply 18-36 Vdc (ground free)
  • with automatic switch-over in case of mains failure
  • Remote control Ethernet LAN 10/100 interface instead of RS 232 / RS 422 interface
  • Front panel with special varnish according to customer specification

Assuming an AVA 10 with 3 inputs, 6 BNC outputs, supply voltage 230 Vac and RS232
interface shall be the need, 
the type designation is

AVA 10 B – 3L – 6H
Assuming an AVA 10 with 4 inputs, 10 N outputs, supply voltage 230 Vac and 18-36 Vdc, remote control through the LAN interface and input 1 shall have a passive bypass, the type designation is
